Arabic Text

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

Transliteration (Pronunciation)

“Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'alallah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.”

English Translation & Meaning

In the name of Allah; I trust in Allah; there is no power and no strength except with Allah.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said that whoever says this upon leaving their home is told: 'You are guided, defended and protected,' and devils turn away.
