Frequently Asked Questions

How are the prayer times calculated in Turkey?⌄

We use Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı parameters: 18° for Fajr and Isha, Hanafi Asr. Times are computed on our servers with the open adhan library — not a live scrape of the official table, so a few minutes of drift is possible.

When is Suhoor and Iftar today in Turkey?⌄

It depends on the province and district. Search above or pick from the list. Suhoor is Fajr; Iftar is Maghrib.

Can I get reminders for each prayer?⌄

Yes — Adhan notifications live in the app. This page is the public timetable; the phone carries the alarm.

How do I track my missed fasts or prayers?⌄

Fasting and qada tracking live in the Namaz Buddy app. This page is today’s timetable.

How do I find my district?⌄

All 81 provinces and their districts are listed. Type the name in search — Seyhan, Kadikoy, Cankaya — or page through the directory.

Is this the official Diyanet timetable?⌄

No. We calculate with Diyanet angles; the official source remains Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı. If your mosque differs, follow the mosque.

What is Namaz Buddy?⌄

An Islamic quiz app. Prayer times, Qibla and Adhan are tools. The daily reason to open it is the match and Hal.
