Local UK timetable guide
Prayer times in Reading: begins and jama’ah
Reading is west of London and is calculated at its own coordinates. Check this local start-time timetable before comparing it with the iqamah time published by your mosque.
Today’s prayer beginnings
In Reading, Fajr begins at 05:40, Dhuhr at 12:57, Asr at 15:48, Maghrib at 18:31, and Isha at 19:49. Sunrise is 07:11.
Why the mosque time may differ
A prayer start is not necessarily the jama’ah time. UK mosques choose when the congregation stands after the prayer has begun, and may adjust that schedule through the year. Follow the mosque noticeboard for iqamah and Jumu’ah.
How this UK timetable is calculated
Namaz Buddy applies Moonsighting Committee parameters, Shafi‘i Asr and a three-minute sunrise adjustment to Reading’s coordinates. It provides a consistent local clock, but it is not a live copy of the London Unified Prayer Timetable or any mosque timetable. If your mosque publishes a different time, use the mosque’s timetable for that congregation.
